There are many reasons for not conceiving. The causes are just as individual as your personal story. By means of advanced diagnostics, we help you understand the root of the problem and lay out the most suitable treatment options for you. In our IVF lab in Bonn, we work to the highest standards. We are especially proud of our team of experts who not only bring years of experience and expertise to the table but also have their hearts in the right place. Infertility is a sensitive issue. While we give nature a helping hand, we also try to give our patients hope. Unfortunately, no fertility center in the world can provide guarantees. In some cases, fulfilling the desire to have a biological child can be a rocky road. Together we keep our eyes on the goal and do everything in our power to hear you finally say: conceiving this small wonder was well worth taking all the hurdles.

Dear visitor,
thank you for taking an interest in our clinic and me personally. After completing my medical studies in Düsseldorf, I worked from 2008 to 2015 at the gynecological clinic of University Hospital Cologne, where I completed my residency (Prof. Dr. med. P. Mallmann) and started my further training in gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine (Prof. Dr. med. G. Rahimi) which I completed at the fertility center in Siegen/Dortmund/Wuppertal (Prof. Dr. med. S. Dieterle/Dr. med. A. Neuer/Prof. Dr. med. R. Greb). Subsequently, I was employed as senior physician and quality management representative of the department of gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine at the gynecological clinic of University Hospital Bonn (Prof. Dr. med. Gernot Prietl in Bonn Bad Godesberg that I have been running as kiwup fertility clinic together with my friendly team of experts. I speak English, Italian and French and look forward to meeting you.

Dear Visitor,
My name is Dr. Andrea Schanz, and as of November 1, 2025, I am delighted to be joining the kiwup team in Bonn as a specialist in reproductive medicine.
For many years, my work has been driven by a deep passion for gynecology and reproductive medicine. I have worked in specialized fertility centers, pursue continuous professional development—including training in nutritional medicine as well as health promotion and prevention—and have been actively involved in teaching at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (HHU) for many years. In addition, I have the privilege of serving as an examiner for the Medical Association of North Rhine (Ärztekammer Nordrhein) in the field of reproductive medicine.
It is especially important to me to treat each person as an individual, to listen attentively, and to work together to find the best possible path for your health and your desire to have children. I very much look forward to meeting you personally and supporting you on your journey.

Dear Visitors,
Thank you very much for your interest in my background. After completing my medical studies at the University of Freiburg, I began my specialist training in gynecology and obstetrics in 2009 at the University Women’s Hospital Düsseldorf, under the supervision of Prof. W. Janni and Prof. T. Fehm.
Nearly six years later, I moved to St. Elisabeth Hospital Cologne-Hohenlind and most recently worked as a senior physician (Consultant) at Bonn University Hospital in the Department of Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.
Over the past years, my clinical focus has included gynecologic oncology, in which I obtained my subspecialty certification, as well as operative gynecology. Through my leadership of the miscarriage clinic at the University Women’s Hospital Düsseldorf, the endometriosis clinic at the certified Endometriosis Center Hohenlind, and the specialized fibroid clinic at Bonn University Hospital, the topic of family planning and fertility has consistently accompanied my professional journey.
I am now very happy to be able to focus specifically on this field at the Kiwup fertility clinic. I very much look forward to providing you with comprehensive and expert advice based on my experience and to supporting you with empathy on your very personal journey together with the entire Kiwup team.

Senior Embryologist | Head of the IVF Laboratory
Dear Visitor,
My name is Corinna Quantius, and I am a Senior Embryologist and Head of the IVF Laboratory at KIWUP. Prior to this role, I led the laboratory at Lindenhof Hospital in Bern, Switzerland, for several years.
It is very important to me that every step is carried out with the utmost care and precision, and that you feel safe and well supported with us. Behind every embryo stands an experienced and compassionate team, accompanying you with dedication throughout your journey.
Head Reproductive Biologist IVF Laboratory
Dear visitors,
thank you for your interest in kiwup and in me personally. I am a reproductive biologist (with specialist certification from the AGRBM) and am very much looking forward to soon being able to support the laboratory team, which has been loyal to the practice with its expertise for many years, as a senior biologist. After studying biology at the University of Bonn, I received my PhD in molecular biomedicine in 2008. Afterwards, I headed the scientific department of a quality management company in Cologne, Germany, until my interest in reproductive medicine was aroused for personal reasons. Therefore, I have great respect for people who dare to take the step to get help with their desire to have children. It is therefore a matter of the heart for me to sensitively accompany fertility patients during this sensitive step. I started my dream job as a reproductive biologist in 2010 at the University Women’s Hospital in Bonn. In the five years as deputy IVF laboratory manager, I was able to enjoy excellent training and, for example, accompanied the multicenter and international ESHRE study ESTEEM for Bonn as a monitor. Subsequently, I worked for more than three years at a fertility center of the amedes group until I was allowed to participate in the establishment of a fertility center of the NEXTCLINICS group as a senior biologist of the IVF laboratory. I would now like to bring my experience and knowledge from working with recognized experts in the field of fertility to the IVF laboratory at kiwup from April 2022 and look forward to meeting you, too.
